Hug Life with PofA

Over the weekend Kharlo, CJ, Jona, Jp, Aaron, went to LA to see our childhood friend and Shepard Fairey's protoge, Philip Lumbang's first solo show: Hug Life.

We ate Rosco's Chicken and Waffles the morning after we had arrived. Then to Philip's art show. It was dope, there was a photo gallery from another artist above Phil's art show. There was a photo op before entering Hug Life. Truly amazing.

The next day, we ate at Bahay Kubo near the venue. Truly delicious. Then before we all departed, I got a an art piece from Phil. Later Kharlo and I rode around LA near Fairfax around the Bape store.

Notes to myself: I really gotta get my stuff together, and have sleepless nights like the other artists and geniuses out there.

First week on campus and 10 movie sites TA 141 HW

First week on campus:

My first week on campus was hectic. I was only enrolled in one class and I had to add nine more units in order for me to save my financial aid. I scoured the my.sjsu.edu website for open classes and crashed as many as I could. Luckily I was able to add the classes that I need and want. I was afraid that I would ahve to add a whole bunch of filler classes in order save my financial aid. Fortunately, all my classes count towards my graduation. Which leads me to my next point, "I have to get out of here!" I got a message from SJSU saying that I have exceeded the amount of units needed to graduate, so I should follow suit and put on that grad cap as soon possible.

But my first week on campus as a whole, was not so bad. I worked here and there to generate at least some kind of money as I was figuring out my class schedule. What I like the most about the first week is that I kicked into gear and left 'Summer mode' behind. I was beginning to get too comfortable in having tons of free time. I'd like to call myself an "inertia" type. If I am constantly working, I don't feel like slowing down, and thus, make best of my day. But if I start the day slow, and catch myself watching television or playing video games, I waste my day away because I just can't seem to get myself out of it.

All in all. I was reacquainted with friends that went back home for Summer now that school has started up again. Which is always good. I get to work more, after my class schedule was finalized that is. I work at the Event Center on campus, so when school begins, so does a ton of work at the Event Center. This means more money in my pocket, which is never a bad thing.

To my last year at SJSU (hopefully)!!!
